How to triple your weekly income by using 1 simple technique
Many years ago I worked as all of you do.. swapping time for money and relying on this income to fund my life. It wasn't until I went to a course that changed the way I thought (and acted) forever..
This course taught me to leverage my time and energy to produce multiple revenue streams so if one revenue stream dried up, the others would keep me moving forward. I built a team, created an online store to sell products, and brought in group exercise classes, massage and workshops into my PT Studio... as a result in 12 months I had added $100,000 to my bottom line.
The most obvious and biggest change though was ...
INCREASING MY PRICES!
...sounds easy right?
Well, like most of you, I wasn't comfortable doing this, I was already undercharging, giving discounts and everything else just to make sales and get as many clients as I could. Even though I had a University Degree behind me and 5 years in the industry, I lacked confidence when it came to asking for money.
I was working massive hours just to earn what other more under-qualified and inexperienced PT's were earning in 3/4 of the time. And as I know now, I was massively devaluing my services.
After I figured out the strategy
to increase my prices, and the courage to change my mindset I ended up increasing my charge out rate by $30/hour in one go!!
It was amazing. I instantly earned an extra $900/week!
Note, that I was charging $60/hour for 5 years without an increase despite all my costs going up around me... hence the reason it was such a big jump in one go.. I had to cover 5 years of smaller increases. Not ideal for the consumer obviously, so it was a big call.
I must tell you, I had to be prepared to lose a few clients in the process - but I had the option of them training with my other staff at a lower rate. The beauty of that was, I'd still be earning a cut of their sessions too.
Even if you don't have staff, the risk is certainly worth the reward. Think about it.. you'll be working less hours for at least the same amount as you were earning before. Then, you can market your services to new clients at your 'new rate' with the extra time you'd have.
The result:
I lost ZERO clients, and a few in fact said.. "We were wondering when you were going to charge what you're worth"
WOW!
Enough said. The message here is value your product, charge what you're worth and believe in yourself.
For too long I assumed what others were thinking, and that limited me to charge what I was worth.
Don't make the same mistake. Take action, have a plan and execute!
